Never will orphans lives and words be defended, praised, coached, mentored and guided by a Father’s love. Never will there be safe strong arms when these children awaken frantic with the terrors of the night. Never will there be a Father’s pride at the end of the finish line.
Stephanie Williams, a sophomore at Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas followed the footsteps of her mother who volunteered twice in an AIDS orphanage in Ethiopia. Stephanie applied to become a volunteer at the House of Angels in Romania. Her motivation for volunteering came from her passion for people and making them feel loved. She did just that with the staff and children at the House of Angels.
The adoption community is receiving conflicting messages about the future of Adoption Tax Credit. There are some talks on the Capitol Hill about doing away with the Adoption Tax Credit, which will affect thousands of adoptive families who are still waiting to complete their adoptions.
